General Leasing Questions

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?

All apartments come unfurnished.

 

Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?

Yes! View your balance, submit electronic check, or pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover from any computer or smartphone. Visit ridgeapartments.com and click the “Resident Portal” button. There is a 3 – 5 percent convenience fee to make payments with credit card.

Do I have a meal plan?

Meal plans are not offered.

Do you allow pets?

The Ridge at Wolf Pen Creek is a pet friendly community! Only one pet is permitted per apartment. Please see a leasing agent for fees and breed/weight restrictions.

How are roommates matched?

We do not offer roommate matching from our community. However, if you would like to bring your own roommate, we would be happy to put them on the lease.

How are rooms assigned?

How close to campus are you?

We are located conveniently near Texas A&M University and Blinn College.

How do our rates compare to on-campus housing rates?

When comparing our rates to on-campus rates you must take into consideration many variables, including floor plan layout, square footage, furniture, utilities and community events. Our leasing staff is available to discuss with you how our rates compare to other housing options and validate that our community offers you the best value for your money, as well as a great location and incredible amenities.

How many people live there?

Every year the total number varies just slightly, but we have room for 192 total apartments.

If I am over 21 do I need a guarantor?

A guarantor is not required, but if you do not meet our rental qualifications, you will need to secure a guarantor.

Is parking available?

We have plenty of parking available, including marked spaces for your visitors.

What do I need to hook up my computer to the internet?

You will need a CAT 5 (Ethernet) cable. Your computer must be configured properly for the internet to work. Your computer or device must be registered as an active device with our internet service provider. You will need to purchase a router to access WIFI in your home.

What is the cost?

What types of leases are available?

We offer 6-, 9- and 12-month installment leases.

What utilities are included in my rent?

Our rental package covers cable and high-speed internet. The resident is responsible for electric, water and trash.

When can I move in?

Some apartments are available immediately. Please speak with an agent for availability.

When do I put down a deposit?

The deposit is paid when the application is approved. Upon receipt of deposit, an agent will send the lease to be signed.

When is my first payment due?

The first payment is due on the first day of the lease.

Will you send me a bill each month for rent?

We mail an invoice each month. Rent is considered late and will accrue charges after the third of each month.

Renewal Questions

What is a "renewal?"

Are you loving it here and can't imagine leaving at the end of your lease? By signing a renewal, you get to extend your stay at your community!

If I renew, do I have to move out then move back in?

When you renew and choose to stay in your current spot, no moving is required!

If I renew, will my guarantor have to sign again?

No. Your guarantor doesn't have to do anything extra!

I just moved in, is it too early to renew?

Renewing now will provide the most benefit to you. By signing early, you will secure your space for next year and take advantage of the best pricing available.

How do I renew?

We know how busy you are, so we have made the process as quick and easy as possible. Renewing is a easy as "1,2,3!" Just following these steps:

1. Open your renewal email from us.
2. Review the terms, and click "Accept"
3. Follow the prompts to sign the new lease agreement.

It's that easy!
